Trim tree limbs within 6 feet of the ground for trees taller than 12 feet, and remove any branches that are less than 10 feet from chimneys or stovepipes. Trees within 30 feet of structures (with a trunk less than 4 inches in diameter) must be spaced at least 10 feet from other trees.

Shrub Management:

Remove high-energy-release shrubs such as Manzanita, Sage, Juniper, and Ironwood if they are within 15 feet of structures.
